How to add a widget to Squarespace

Embed your Shareables widget on your Squarespace site.

Copy your widget’s embed code

Open the Share modal in your widget editor and copy your embed code. See How to install on your website for detailed steps.

Add a Code Block

  1. Edit your Squarespace page
  2. Click + to add a new block
  3. Select Code from the menu

Paste the code

  1. Paste your Shareables embed code
  2. Make sure Display Source is unchecked
  3. Click Apply

Save your page

  1. Click Done to exit editing
  2. Click Save to publish your changes

Code blocks require a Squarespace Business plan or higher.

Full-width widgets

To make your widget full-width:

  1. Add the Code Block to a full-width section
  2. Or wrap it in a section with no padding

Troubleshooting

Widget not showing

  • Ensure you have a Business plan or higher
  • Check that Display Source is unchecked
  • Clear your browser cache

Widget cut off

  • Check the section width settings
  • Remove any max-width restrictions from the parent section
