Data SourcesManaging Connections

Managing Connections

Manage all your data source connections from one place. The Connections page lets you view, rename, and delete connections across Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, and Stackby.

Accessing the Connections Page

Open Account Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Account Settings.

Go to Connections

Click Data Source Connections to view all your connected accounts.

What You’ll See

Each connection shows:

  • Provider — The data source type (Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion)
  • Name — The account email or a custom name you’ve set
  • Date connected — When the connection was first created
  • Linked widgets — Which widgets are using this connection

Click the arrow next to “Linked widgets” to expand and see the names of all widgets using that connection. You can click a widget name to jump directly to its creator page.

Renaming a Connection

If you have multiple accounts from the same provider, renaming helps you tell them apart.

  1. Click Rename next to the connection
  2. Enter a new name
  3. Click Save

Renaming a connection is cosmetic only — it won’t affect any linked widgets or data.

Deleting a Connection

If you no longer need a connection, you can remove it.

  1. Click Delete next to the connection
  2. Review the confirmation dialog — it will list any widgets that will be disconnected
  3. Click Delete to confirm

Deleting a connection cannot be undone. Any widgets using this connection will be disconnected and will need to be reconnected to a data source before they can update with new data.

Expired Connections

If a connection has expired or been revoked, you’ll see a red Reconnect button next to it. This can happen when:

  • You revoked access from your Google, Airtable, or Notion account settings
  • The connection token expired and couldn’t be refreshed automatically

To fix an expired connection, open any widget that uses it and reconnect your account from the Source tab.

Tips

  • Check linked widgets before deleting — Expand the linked widgets list to make sure you won’t accidentally disconnect a live widget
  • Use clear names — If you connect multiple accounts from the same provider, rename them so you can easily tell which is which
  • Connections are shared — One connection can be used by multiple widgets, so you don’t need to reconnect for each new widget
