How to add a widget to Carrd

Embed your Shareables widget on your Carrd site.

Copy your widget’s embed code

Open the Share modal in your widget editor and copy your embed code. See How to install on your website for detailed steps.

Add an Embed element

  1. Open your Carrd site in the editor
  2. Click + to add a new element
  3. Select Embed from the element list

Paste the code

  1. In the Embed settings, select Code as the type
  2. Paste your Shareables embed code
  3. Adjust the width and height as needed

Publish your site

  1. Click Publish in the top right
  2. Confirm your changes

The Embed element requires a Carrd Pro plan.

Responsive sizing

For best results:

  • Set the embed width to 100%
  • Set a minimum height (e.g., 500px) or use Auto if available
  • The widget will adapt to different screen sizes automatically

Troubleshooting

Widget not showing

  • Ensure you have a Carrd Pro plan
  • Check that the embed type is set to Code
  • Verify the embed code is complete

Widget appears too small

  • Increase the height value in the Embed settings
  • Check the container settings on your Carrd page
