How to rename widgets

Give your widgets clear, descriptive names to keep your dashboard organised.

Open your widget

  1. From your dashboard, find the widget you want to rename
  2. Click Edit to open it in the editor

Rename the widget

  1. Find the widget name at the top of the editor
  2. Click the name to edit it
  3. Type your new name
  4. Changes save automatically

Tips for naming widgets

  • Use descriptive names like “Team Directory - Marketing”
  • Include the purpose or location if you have multiple similar widgets
  • Keep names concise but meaningful

Where the name appears

  • Your dashboard
  • Analytics reports
  • Browser tab when viewing hosted pages
