How to delete widgets
Remove widgets you no longer need.
Deleting a widget is permanent and cannot be undone. All settings, analytics data, and embed codes will be lost.
Find your widget
- From your dashboard, find the widget you want to delete
- Click the settings menu (gear icon)
Delete
- Select Delete
- Confirm by clicking Delete
- The widget is permanently removed
What happens when you delete
- The widget is immediately removed from your dashboard
- Any embeds on your website will stop working
- Hosted pages will show a 404 error
- Analytics data is permanently deleted
- Custom domain assignments are released
Before deleting
Consider these alternatives:
- Archive - If you might need it later
- Duplicate - Save a copy before deleting
- Unpublish - Hide it without deleting
Embedded widgets
If the deleted widget was embedded on your website, visitors will see an error message. Make sure to remove the embed code from your site.
